Boiler: ETA HACK 200 Chip Boiler.

Output:  195kW

Fuel Store: 75m³ Chip store with sprung agitator arms

Buffer Storage: 2 x 2000 litre buffer + 1000 litre thermal store at the main house

Usage: District Heating for Manor House, 4 bedroom cottage, 3 Holiday lets and office space.

Delivery: Underground pipe work to EVINOX Modusat heat interface unit.


Description: 195kW ETA HACK 200 chip boiler is connected to a district heating scheme was installed to take advantage of the RHI and displacing Oil, LPG and an electric boiler.  The savings will be very high here and with the range of expensive fuels were used to heat the buildings.  The heating controls were upgrade for Outdoor Weather compensation so only the required flow temperatures are supplied to the building to produce a very even heat on such a large property.


A purpose built plant room and fuel store was erected to accommodate the boiler with the heat main distributed through the site from this central plant room.  The system can be controlled via the internet through the MienETA portal or from the boiler enabling for the most efficient operation of the plant.


The site has been designed to have logs chipped on site that are harvest off the site during the next few years while the local woodland is managed and seasoned. See below the on site chipping been carried out by a local contractor for the ETA HACK 200.
